False start and backstroke stands
The construction of the false start stands was designed in accordance with the requirements of FINA. The false start line is the basin between stationary uprights on the floating transverse drawn at a height of min. 1.2 m above the water level, 15.0 m away from the start point. Upon detection of a false start, the decoupling mechanism of the false start line is triggered and the false start line falls and covered all the tracks.
